Hypocrisy reigns, steroids are blamed in our fake world

Anyone knows that anabolic steroids are often demonized. If a sportsperson or a bodybuilder uses steroids and/or other doping products, he/she is considered to be a cheater. Sportswriters report about such individuals as about those who have destructed their reputation. Anti-doping officials put incredible efforts and spend money in other to determine whether certain athletes have doped. Even the government spends taxpayers’ funds and time in order to prove that several athletes have applied steroids and/or performance-enhancing drugs. It is affirmed that those who dope take unfair advantages in sports.
Many pieces of news describe the fight against steroids. But let think whether arguments against intake of steroids are strong enough to prove that it is disgraceful to use them.
It is confirmed that steroid-using sportspersons serve as a bad example for kids and young persons. It is known that youth sees numerous sports stars that use steroids and other related remedies. As a result, young people want to look and be as strong, as these famous sports figures.  Moreover, it is widely discussed about health risks linked with steroids. But if you are attentive, you can comprehend that these arguments are weak because hypocrisy reigns here.
Let examine the most spread arguments against usage of anabolic steroids and/or other related products.
According to the first argument, intake of steroids is closely associated with several probable health risks. Many articles warn about shrinkage of testicles and enlargement of heart that may occur on account of steroid use. Although it may be true, let analyze our life. We consume unhealthy food, however we know that it destroys our health. Several persons administer antidepressants which are also quite unsafe. We are also involved in other unhealthy activities.
According to another argument against steroids, steroid-using sportspersons take unfair advantages in competitions. They win because they increase performance with these preparations. Let see what happens in other areas, for example, in the world of entertainment.  A lot of actors and actresses improve their appearances and performances in order to play several roles in movies. They also take unfair advantages over others with the help of some surgeries and other things. But they are not sentenced to suspensions.
While it is confirmed that steroid-using sportspeople send bad messages to young persons that want to look like them and follow their examples, nobody notes about the bad example of actors and actresses. Young girls also want to look like those they see in magazines.
While federal prosecutors pursue sportspeople who use steroids, they have nothing to do with actors and actresses who act the same way.
It is clear that arguments against application of steroids are very weak. They show hypocrisy that reigns in our counterfeit world.
