Andrew Tilin tries to understand why sportspersons use performance-enhancing drugs

Andrew Tilin, an amateur cyclist and a writer,  received a 2-year ban. United States Anti-Doping Agency banned this individual after he had admitted taking steroids for legal hormone replacement therapy. The admitting was made by the rider in own book which will be soon probably published. The book is entitled following: “The Doper Next Door: My Strange and Scandalous Year on Performance-Enhancing Drugs” .
The book presents individual experiences of some persons who administrated preparations which possess performance-enhancing effects.
Thus, Tilin used the steroid testosterone for hormone replacement therapy. It is quite clear.  Actually, it is not yet clear whether this person has noted about individual experience connected with other preparations that increase performance.
Andrew Tilin wants to understand and describe in his book why persons dope. He notes the motivations of various people. Do these preparations help actually? These medications are quite controversial; the explanations linked with these medicines are controversial as well. Since many consumers do not like talking about their administration, numerous answers on questions about doping remain undisclosed.
Andrew Tilin has been evidentially changed due to administration of the steroid testosterone. He has become much more powerful but more aggressive. He had to worry about his health and about the ways to lie, being an amateur rider. So, he became to be involved in the doping subculture.
Writing his book, Andrew Tilin desired to explain that steroids are dangerous and have numerous negative symptoms.  A lot of sportspeople who have used banned medicines criticize Tilin. One of critics is Joe Papp, a former American cyclist. This person was caught selling and using certain performance-enhancing drugs. He didn’t admit taking banned products willingly; he was caught due to an investigation. His professional and personal life was destroyed because of these banned medications. Joe Papp wrote about Andrew Tilin that he had been doped for a year intentionally. Papp mentioned that Tilin had known that the steroid testosterone was banned but he had used it. Then he wrote that these preparations caused undesirable reactions in consumers.  According to Joe Papp, Andrew Tilin had to receive a 4-year ban.
Andrew Tilin’s ban started in March 2011.
