Relations between trainings and muscle disorders

Over 10 players of the Iowa Hawkeyes football team were taken in hospital due to  rhabdomyolsis. This is an illness related to fast destruction of skeletal muscle which results in leakage into urine the muscle protein myoglobin. People with this condition suffer from severe muscle aches, weakness and soreness. Since byproducts of the muscle damage become toxic to the kidneys, there is a high risk of kidney failure under this circumstance.
Specialists began immediately to blame nephrotoxic supplements or anabolic steroids in occurring of rhabdomyolsis in players of the Hawkeyes but there was no any  link between these medications and this disease in them. The physician James Williams told to CBS during an interview that nephrotoxic supplements had to be blamed for the condition in these football players. He confirmed that persons had dehydration, when their muscles became broken due to hard trainings. When supplements are applied in such situations, they are turned to be toxic to kidneys directly, according to James William. He added that this condition caused rhabdomyolsis.
Unfortunately, the media didn’t interview real high-qualified experts. Only so-called specialists were asked by media. That’s why the affirmations were misleading.
It is said that Mike Gimbel of a Maryland anti-steroid and anti-supplement organization doesn’t possess sufficient knowledge. He just claims that however they do not know how the supplements act in body and whether they cause any benefits, these products are quite dangerous for health.
Nevertheless, several aspects displayed that anabolic steroids were not responsible for rhabdomyolsis of the football players. These players submitted to tests for forbidden preparations and they tested negative. Moreover, a specialist has studied and shown that there was no any link between muscle damages and anabolic steroids or HGH. Richard J. Auchus, an expert on steroid metabolism at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, assures that gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid is the only drug that could cause this disease. Sometimes this drug is used for anabolic effects too. This is an illicit drug. Some experts like Auchus, a consultant of the U. S. Anti-Doping Agency, believe that no any product is to be blamed for rhabdomyolsis of these football players. He assures that the muscle destruction is caused by extremely hard training to which the coaches pushed the players.
The trainer Chris Doyle will be probably condemned for rhabodomyolsis of the football players, if steroids or other supplements will be not turned to be the reasons of the disease. Who knows? Even sport in itself may be accompanied by some risks.

Although other teams also have taken performance-enhancing drugs in 1970s, the Pittsburgh Steelers are blamed more than others

When it is proclaimed that the Pittsburgh Steelers will play, sportswriters seem to be responsible to write about their relations with steroids. They put efforts to create a steroid scandal and to find any probable links of this team with it.
Mike Fish of ESPN displayed the same attitude, when this team played in the 2009 Super Bowl.  Thisjournalist turned to be successful in writing news about the Pittsburgh Steelers and steroids.
Although sportswriters do not have always success, when it comes to allegations of a team or a person with performance-enhancing drugs before a competition, the situation is altered, if it is spoken about the Pittsburgh Steelers. Reporters like writing about their history, about the lesson connected with anabolic steroids that took place in 1970s.
David Fleming wrote about historical lessons of the Steelers before a game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers. This person mentioned about time, when the NFL hadn’t yet banned usage of steroids. Thus, according to certain sources, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ players took steroids in the late 1970s. It is mentioned in the 1991 book “False Glory: The Steve Courson Story” that over 70 % of the offensive linemen of the Steelers  took steroids.
It must have been true but you should understand that application of steroids was not prohibited. Why are the Steelers condemned, if steroid use was permitted?
Jim Haslett told the New Orleans Saints that the Pittsburgh Steelers had won many times in 1970s and in 1980s because of steroids. According to this trainer, the players of the team became much stronger due to intake of steroids.
But it is necessary to be cautious here. The Steelers were not the first football team that took steroids and other medicines which possess performance-enhancing effects. There were other teams in professional football that used steroids even in well-organized manner.
Matt Chaneygives the better explanation related to application of steroids in football. He noticed in his book “The Spiral of Denial: Muscle Doping in American football” that the Steelers hadn’t to be blamed for the steroid revolution in football. There was another team that was responsible for this aspect. The San Diego Charges took steroids before the Steelers in 1960s.
Although the Pittsburgh Steelers took steroids in 1970s, it is impossible to confirm that they won due to steroids. There were also players of other teams who used these medications too. Nonetheless, the Pittsburgh Steelers were successful!

Certain priorities of Trenbolone over testosterone

Trenbolone is an anabolic steroid which is taken by bodybuilders for many years. Unfortunately, this medication has never been considered to be  an excellent drug for clinical needs. It isn’t approved for human usage by the U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This drug has been demonized numerous times by media. Numerous articles have proclaimed that this preparation is quite  dangerous. But recent studies have shown opposite facts. It is suggested that common attitude to this drug can be soon  changed. Experts from Florida, including Joshua Yarrow, assure that this drug may be used as testosterone for hormone replacement therapy.  The specialists are sure that it is an effective alternative product to testosterone for the need mentioned above. Results of studies conducted by these experts have been published in the American Journal of Physiology – Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Furthermore, the experts assure that trenbolone enanthate has even certain priorities over testosterone for some persons. Bodybuilders  know and support the statements linked with this drug. As it is known, testosterone aromatases. As for trenbolone, it is turned neither to estradiol, nor to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). That’s why it doesn’t lead to negative reactions linked with estrogen and DHT.
Joshua Yarrow  reports about the studies led by him and his colleagues. Castrated rats have been given trenbolone enanthate.  Even reduced doses of this preparation have increased their muscle size and kept bone mineral density. There have not been reported such adverse results, as enlargement of prostate or polycythemia in these lab rats.
But extremely induced measures of testosterone enanthate were required to cause the same anabolic effects in muscles as were produced by reduced doses of trenbolone enanthate. But such unexpected symptoms, as prostate enlargement and induced hemoglobin accompanied the enhanced doses of testosterone enanthate. It is suggested by the researchers that trenbolone acts as selective androgen receptor modulators, causing anabolic effects in muscles and bones without androgenic side reactions.
Professional competitive bodybuilders prefer administrating trenbolone several weeks before competitions because it causes fat loss. Moreover, the researches have displayed that the same doses of trenbolone have more powerful lipolytic effects than those of testosterone. It has been detected that more trenbolone a person takes, the greater the fat loss is produced.
Since trenbolone lacks aromatization, it is commonly used together with such steroids, as testosterone, Dianabol or with another aromatizable steroid. The lack of aromatization makes trenbolone unable to be used alone for testosterone replacement therapy. The non-aromatizable feature of this medicine is responsible for just partial protective effect of bones.
Nonetheless, it is possible to conclude that additional researches are needed in order to apply trenbolone for hormone replacement therapy.

Amounts of Clenbuterol detected in Alberto Contador’s sample are 40 times less than the minimum that is required for detection capacity by the WADA

The cyclist Alberto Contador who won the 2010 Tour de France tested positive for Clenbuterol. Quantities of this substance in his body were very small. They were 40 times less than its minimum standard of the detection ability. But the WADA is completely intolerable when it comes to this drug. Any amount of this substance detected in an athlete’s body causes ban.
The Spanish cyclist Alberto contador confirms that the positive for Clenbuterol is caused by meat contaminated with this substance. Numerous experts believe him, since the quantity detected in his urine are extremely small.   Nonetheless, Alberto Contadorreceived a ban.
Douwe de Boer, anti-doping expert of Contador’s defense team, notes that he becomes disappointed in the WADA’s decision day by day. This specialist notices that it seems as if the WADA enjoyed to ban innocent athletes but not to detect cheaters.
Zhao Jian of China’s Anti-Doping Agency proclaims that a person can test positive from contaminated meat. It is not just saying. This statement is scientifically proven. Detlef Thieme of the Institute of Doping Analysis and Sports Biochemistry in German supports this statement too.  He proclaims that nobody can doubt about it.
Wilhelm Schaenzer of the Laboratoty for Doping Analysis at the German Sports University in Cologne says that it is an obvious problem that they do not have ability to investigate and define doping clearly.
According to anti-doping studies conducted in Cologne, it is more likely to detect Clenbuterol from contaminated meat than from intentional intake of this preparation for athletic needs.
National Anti-Doping Laboratory from China states that experiments led by them have shown that consumption of pork meat containing Clenbuterol may cause positives for this substance.
Nevertheless, there are skeptic individuals that suppose that the Spanish cyclist Alberto Contador has used performance-enhancing drugs.
Skeptic attitude to the cyclist Alberto Contador may be explained by the factor that use of EPO, anabolic steroids, HGH and other medications that possess performance-enhancing effects is widespread in cycling. The former cyclists Floyd Landis and Bernhard Kohl that have been caught by the WADA are sure that all cyclists take performance-enhancing product. Patrick Arnold, a chemist has the same point of view.

The Waterloo Warrior program was shut down for a year

Anti-doping agencies do not act fairly in some cases. Since several sportspersons are caught using steroids, the whole teams receive suspensions. So, sportspersons who do not lie are suspended together with cheaters. Can’t you find it  unfair? Why should good sportspersons be kept from making their hopes and dreams real, if other persons lie?
The Waterloo football program was shut down for a year. It was due to results of an investigation.  Everything began from a bust of a player that was caught having numerous  vials of anabolic steroids and HGH. It caused many investigations led in Canadian colleges. The investigations were conducted by the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport.
An investigation showed eight positives of the Waterloo football players. It led to decision to suspend the whole team for a year.
Unluckily, fair players of the Waterloo College were suspended together with liars who utilized forbidden performance-enhancing drugs. The players Matt Vonk and Steve Ples  played at Laurier before the scandal linked with steroids and the suspension. These two football players dind’t take steroids. That’s why The football players Matt Vonk and Steve Ples hadn’t receive the suspension.
These two football players wanted to transfer to another college in order to realize their dreams connected with football. But they received refusal. Thus, Matt Vonk and Steve Ples will be kept from playing football the whole year.

Ignorance of certain journalists is shown in their articles related to steroids

Since topics connected with steroids are popular around the world, many journalists present them even lacking proper knowledge about these preparations. Certain journalists are not able even spell names of the medications about which they write news. In case an article’s theme is connected with a well-known steroid applied by various athletes, readers are waiting for finding out about essential properties and researches connected with this steroid. A reporter that writes about a steroid should know at least general information connected with it.
Unluckily, you may come across significant lack of knowledge, when you read news related to steroids. For example, the reporter Matthew Kelly has written an article about Nandrolone Decanoate that was published in the Newcastle Herald newspaper. As it is well known by many people, the trade name of this product is quite celebrated. Athletes often call it shortly: they name it just Deca instead of Deca Durabolin.  The name  “Deca Durabolin” has been applied for more than 50 years. But the journalist Matthew Herald has done mistakes even in the name of this well-known steroid. This reporter has written it following: Decca Duarbulon. Can you trust this reporter? Could you be sure that the other things that are written by this journalist  are true, if he can’t even write the name of the drug correctly? Moreover, it is not the only example of ignorance  about the factors he writes. The Newcastle Herald seems to lack studies linked with steroids. Kelly asks the local trainer to support his statement about steroids which is following: black market of anabolic steroids is full of young sportspersons who seek performance-enhancing drugs to build nice bodies. Since it must be true, the trainer can’t support the confirmation because he knows just the things he has been told. He can’t report anything really because he is not involved in this problem directly.
Another ignorance is displayed in the Newcastle Herald’s description of the way to detect steroid users. It is written that if an individual has massive arms but not chest or  an increased chest and not arms, he\she is an user of steroids. This is the “depth” of researches presented by the Newcastle Herald.
